1. Introduction

Habit Tracker helps people record habits, log each session as a duration, review streaks and totals, and chat with an AI assistant that files entries for them. This policy explains what information is used to provide those features and how to contact us about your data.

2. Information We Collect

Habit Tracker may store account profile data, authentication identifiers, the habits you create, the entries you log (start time, end time, duration, and optional notes), your chat messages with the assistant, and app preferences.

When you use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we may receive your account identifier, name, email address, and profile image when that provider makes those fields available. The app does not collect location data and does not use background location tracking.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to save your habits and entries, compute streaks and totals, remember preferences, and generate the assistant's chat replies and the entries it files for you.

4. Storage And Security

Habit data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL and served through the Habit Tracker backend on Google Cloud Run. Authentication uses Firebase Authentication. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Supabase PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Run, and an AI model provider that receives your chat messages to reply and log entries. We do not use advertising SDKs in this app.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run authentication, database storage, backend hosting, and AI chat, or when required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Habit Tracker is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting support. You can also delete your account and all its data from Profile inside the app.

9. Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. If an update materially affects how your data is handled, we will provide notice through the app, website, or support channel when practical.
